Umbrella Cockatoo 4sale-GISELE

The Umbrella Cockatoo, also known as Cacatua alba, is a notable member of the larger species of cockatoos. Measuring approximately 46 cm (18 in) in length and weighing between 400 g (14 oz) for small females and up to 800 g (28 oz) for large males, these birds possess distinct physical characteristics. Typically, male white cockatoos have broader heads and bigger beaks compared to their female counterparts. They also feature brown or black eyes and a dark grey beak. As they reach maturity, some female white cockatoos may develop reddish/brown irises while adult males usually have dark brown or black irises. The majority of the feathers on a white cockatoo are predominantly white in color. However, the upper and lower surfaces of the inner half of the trailing edge of their wing feathers showcase a yellow hue. This can be seen most prominently on the underside of their wings due to the coverage of yellow portions by white feathers above and closer to their bodies. Similarly, larger tail feathers are also covered by other tail feathers. In addition to these physical characteristics, it should be noted that there are specimens available for sale in pet markets under the name Umbrella Cockatoo 4sale-GISELE  It is worth mentioning that certain areas on these birds’ wings and tails may not display their natural coloration due to overlapping feathers.
